This article offers guidance on giving feedback to students where TurnitIn has been enabled on an Assignment link.

Where this is the case, you have two options for giving feedbacK:

  1. Upload a Word or PDF as feedback directly in Assignment
  2. Use Feedback Studio

If in doubt over which method to use, contact dlsupport@falmouth.ac.uk

Exclamation mark iconUsing feedback studio is only recommended if you will be using its in-line marking features. If you are simply providing overall comments plus rubric, then an uploaded Word or PDF makes for a simpler student experience.

Accessing the Feedback Studio

Once your students have submitted their work through Assignment you'll be able to see a list of all submissions. Click on the pencil icon next to the Turnitin originality report.

Releasing feedback to students

You release feedback to students using the Assignment tool's Marking Workflow. We have guidance on this at Using Marking Workflow in Assignment.
