Meet the Falmouth University MyDay app


How to Download the MyDay app

You can download the MyDay app via the IOS app store or the Android app store.

If you experience any issues installing the app, please email Service Desk, service.desk@fxplus.ac.uk.


Accessing the Student Portal on your PC

The Student Portal is the web-based version of the Falmouth MyDay app. To access the Student Portal, visit student.falmouth.ac.uk. You will be asked to sign in with your university email and password.

Mail

Description: Quickly access your student email online.

Not receiving new emails?

First check you can log in and access O365 emails at https://outlook.office365.com/owa/. Next, check you have a good internet connection and then restart the app.


TimetableTimetable icon in MyDay app

Description: View your timetabled sessions and Outlook appointments in one place.

MyTimetable is empty. What should I do?

Your preferences are only saved when you are logged in. Please log into mytimetable.falmouth.ac.uk to view your timetable.

Where can I find help with using MyTimetable?

Learning Space

Description: Your learning materials and assessment information with single sign-on access.

Learning Space doesn't automatically log me in when I click on one of my modules in the app?

Check you can log in at learningspace.falmouth.ac.uk, if you can, please contact dlsupport@falmouth.ac.uk, if not, you may need to reset your password.

Can't find a Learning Space module listed on the MyDay app?

If you can’t view a module in the app, try logging in directly to Learning Space by pasting the following URL: https://learningspace.falmouth.ac.uk/login/index.php? into your web browser. 

Can't find content on the Learning Space?

Please contact your module leader.


MyFalmouth

Description: Update your contact information and view grades.

Can't log in to MyFalmouth?

Check you can log in at myfalmouth.falmouth.ac.uk. If you can, please contact dlsupport@falmouth.ac.uk, if not, you may need to reset your password, if that still doesn't work, please contact sits@falmouth.ac.uk

How do I view my results?

All results are released online, through the MyFalmouth portal. You will be notified when your results are available on Results Day via an email to your University account. The email is your formal notification that your results are confirmed and ready for viewing online. For For further information view, Assessment & Results.

Print Balance

Print Balance icon in MyDay app

Description: Check print balance or top up print credits.

How do I buy or check print credits for printing?

Print credits for printing can be purchased and print credit balance checked in the Payment Portal. Please log in using your university username and password. For further information view, Payment Portal


Digital Skills

Digital Skills icon in MyDay app

Description: Provides training in Adobe and Microsoft Office suites, as well as coding and Wordpress (Journal).

How can I access Adobe software?

During the academic year campus based students can access Adobe in the IT suites. Adobe software can also be purchased by students. For further information view, Software licence registration.


Falmouth Stores

Falmouth Stores icon in MyDay app

Description: Provides a secure, 24 hour pathway for purchasing goods and services from the university.

Where can I loan equipment or complete online inductions?  

Falmouth Stores allows you to loan equipment, buy items, pay for technical services and complete online inductions for Academy of Music and Theatre Arts, Falmouth Campus, Fashion and Textiles Institute, Games Academy, Institute of Photography and the School of Film and Television. Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

How do I sign up to Wednesday Open Workshops (WOW) on Learning Space?

Wednesday Open Workshops are a supplement to the existing technical support you are receiving during your course. Please check your department’s Technical Resource page in Learning Space for sign-ups in the area relating to your course.


Where can I view information on Assessments, Extensions and Extenuating Circumstances?

SPA (Student Programmes and Achievement team) provides support to students and is a central point of contact for guidance and advice regarding the management of assessment dates and deadlines as well as the management of extensions and Extenuating Circumstances (ECs). Where can I receive assistance on accessibility and inclusivity?

FXPlus Accessibility and Inclusive Learning teams support and advise students on a range of topics such as disabilities, long-term health conditions, autism and Specific Learning Differences (dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD). For further information view, Accessibility and Inclusion.


Where can I view information of how to update my preferred name ('known as' name) or legal name on Learning Space?

Where can I receive academic skills guidance and support?

The Study Hub contains academic skills guidance as well as support and advice on writing assignments and Harvard referencing. For further information view, Study Hub.
