This article explains what the Group Choice activity is and how to use it.
What is Group Choice?
The Group Choice activity feature within Learning Space allows you to enrol yourself into a particular group within a module, for example choosing a project group to be a participant in. The Group Choice activity can be identified by the green and orange avatar icon.
Using Group Choice
Locate the area in the Learning Space where the activity is. To enter Group Choice, click on the title link.
You will then be presented with a table detailing the group options that are available for you to select from. For example Team 1, Team 2 etc.
If assigned by your tutor, there will be a 'show description' button, click on this for more information about the group. Also, depending on how this activity was set up by your tutor, you may be able to see who is currently in the group by clicking on the 'Show Group Members' button.
To confirm your choice, click on the desired check box that appears in the first column of the table and then click on the 'Save my choice' button.
