Introduction

In Journal you use the Block editor to add and arrange content on your pages.

Edit a Page

The example Journal below is based on a template that uses Pages only, so each of the menu links are to different pages in the Journal.

  1. Each page in the template has an Edit Page button beneath the title, and you also have the option to click Edit Page in the top bar.

  1. When you click Edit, the Block editor will open allowing you to edit existing content and/or add new content (See the Using the text and content editor guide).
  2. After adding/editing content, click Save.
  3. Then click Update.
  4. A View Page link will then display (bottom left). Click it to view your updated page.
  5. Alternatively, you can click the Preview or View Page icons next to the Update button to open your Page in a new tab.

Exclamation mark iconImportant: For most individual blogs, the pages you need will already be in place, so you just need to edit them instead of creating new pages. For that reason, it’s important that you click Edit Page and not + New from the top toolbar.
