Introduction

Staff and students have access to change their Forum preferences in Learning Space. This guide takes you through steps to check your current Forum preferences and make changes to reduce the number of email notifications you receive.


  1. Login to Learning Space
  2. Click your Profile (top right) and select Preferences
  3. You can then access Forum preferences from the User account section
  4. Click Forum Preferences to access preference options 
  5. To reduce the number of email notifications you receive, it is recommended that preferences are set to: 

Email digest type - Complete (daily email with full posts)  

Forum auto-subscribe - No: don’t automatically subscribe me to forum discussions 


  1. After selecting your preferences, click Save
